Forgotten But Not Gone

There are many vessels, commercial and pleasure, along the Blackshore aside the River Blyth which runs between the harbour at Southwold and Walberswick. There are also several “no longer loved” ones as well. This is one of them. £enquire Edition of 50

The Blackshore

The River Blyth exits to the sea, at ebb tide!, between Southwold and Walberswick. The commercial and shipwright part is predominately to Southwold on the Blackshore and there can be seen many fishing and service craft as well as the RNLI boat near the public car parks - and ice cream and snacks hut. This scene is of a pair of fishing boats moored at the jetty near the wet fish huts and the chandlers. £enquire Edition of 50

Southwold Pier

Many people are drawn to the pier either for its quirky amusements or more general pursuits like the Arcade or the restaurants and shops. Some people even merely enjoy wandering along it and perhaps watching the fishermen at the end. £enquire Edition of 50
